CONGRATS Kristina on the 'BIG 50' for your colour inspiration challenges. I couldn't resist even though I should be finishing off my swaps for convention, packing, washing after our holiday. The colours for this week are:

Brown (chocolate chip & close to cocoa), yellow (so saffron), turqoise (tempting turquoise), red (riding hood red) and whisper white

Happy Birthday Liam

Today is my baby's 5th birthday. We are still on holidays so he will be having celebrations all week (which he is very happy about LOL!). I can't believe that he went from this ....


to this ... in 5 years, but (yeah!), he will be at big school next year!



He has his face painted as a TMNT.

Here is the card that I made for Liam. He loooves pink (much to his Dad's discust LOL!). So I compromised and used kraft and chocolate chip to try and make it a bit more masculine. I have paper pierced the rocket and added acetate for the window (which you probable can't see in the photo)

From Hamilton Island

Ok, there will be only one card posted in the next 2 weeks because we are away on Hamilton Island, in Queensland. We flew here last Thursday (16th) and will not be returning until the 28th. So far the weather has been absolutely brilliant (no rain yet, fingers crossed because Queensland has had a lot of rain lately) I will be posting some pictures for the relatives to view, but there really isn't much to do here except swim, read, swim, read, snorkel, swim, read. Anyway, you get the picture, so onto the pictures:

Today we went snorkelling over the reefs at 'Catseye Beach'. After the boys and I had had enough, we went back to the room and my husband went out on his lonesome to do some more snorkelling. He was looking for turtles etc when he spotted a reef shark and nearly s**** himself, how funny is that because he said that if I had been with him it would have been ok. Yeah right! I would have been the one to walk on water to get back to the beach LOL! very funny!

When I first saw these colours and that fabulous inspiration photo, I thought OMG!!!, but they weren't too bad to work with after all. So the colours for Kristina's challenge this week are:

Cooper's Birthday

Ok, so Cooper's birthday is actually way back in February, but because Cooper's Mum is sooo busy, she has organised a 'bowling party' today. (which is great because we are on school holidays and looking for things to do with the kids). I recieved some more product from our new catalogue and HAD to ink this rocket up straight away (Love It!). I have also used our new 'in-colours'.

Bunny Box

Ok, so these 'bunny boxes' are everywhere at the moment, and because it is the last day of school tomorrow, I thought (better late than never LOL!), that it might be nice for the boys to give these to their teachers. I have filled this one with little Lindt chocolate bunnies. I have cased bits and pieces from serveral blogs, but mine is still quite different from the others.
